2020 Persistence

Bronze 2021 Royal Easter Show Wine Awards.

An exciting sparkle in the Junction line up. This is a unique blend which will keep you guessing. Well balanced, zesty and uplifting with a hint of sweetness. 50% barrel ferment for added complexity and a creamy texture.

Other Notes:

Hand harvested. Blend varieties. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay (traditional sparkling varieties), Flora, Riesling, Gewurztraminer & Pinot Gris. Residual Sugar 7.5 g/L Brut or dry.

NV Victory Methode Traditionelle

Bronze 2018 & 2020 HB A&P Wine Awards.

Made in the traditional French way, bottle fermented, from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir grapes. Our current release has been aged in bottle on lees for 10 years, giving incredible depth and complexity.

2018 Pastime Pinot Gris

Gold & Trophy 2018 HB A&P Wine Award, Silver 2019 NZ International Wine Show.

A classic full-bodied Pinot Gris with fresh apple, lingering melon flavours and a long, soft creamy finish. Great with white meats, tapa style dishes; it can handle a little spice. Enjoy with good friends.

Whole bunch pressed, cold tank fermented, lees stirring for natural fining and adding texture.

2019 Free Run Sauvignon Blanc

Gold 2020 NZ Aromatic Wine Competition, Bronze 2019 HB A&P Wine Awards.

A sauvignon blanc cold fermented to pack full of fruit flavors, 3 months lees stirring for added complexity and depth. This wine expresses flavors of gooseberry, melon and passion fruit with hints of citrus.

Hand harvested, cool tank fermented, lees stirring for natural fining.

2018 Runaway Riesling

Silver 2020 NZ International and HB A&P Wine Awards & 4 STAR Winestate.

A dry style Riesling, with fruit concentration to give plenty of generosity. Riesling is the forgotten aromatic with so much to offer, the layers of flavor can be discussed for hours and will develop more interesting characters for years to come. Flavors include lime, lemon, apricot, pineapple, peach and  honey. Sip away and enjoy.

2014 Side Step Gewurztraminer

Floral aromas. Enjoy with hot & spicy food.

A super aromatic wine infused with pretty floral aromas. Dry in style with melon and lychee flavours.

This interesting Central Hawke’s Bay wine is a unique variety with fragrant aromas of perfume and spice. Barrel fermented with 30% new French oak. An easy drinking wine which will go down well tonight or intrigue at your next dinner party. Developing complex flavors, drink now or cellar for another five plus years.

2018 Corner Post Chardonnay

Gold 2021 Royal Easter Show, Gold 2019 NZ International Wine Awards, Silver 2019 HB A&P Wine Awards and 4 STAR Winestate.

This 100% barrel fermented Chardonnay with 40% new French oak, 100% malolactic fermentation and spent 14 months in barrel. A warm growing season meant more intense stone fruit and citrus flavours with layers of flint, cream and spice.

2018 Possession Pinot Noir

Silver 2020 HB A&P Wine Awards & 3.5  STAR Winestate.

This stunning Central Hawke’s Bay Pinot Noir is a rich, full bodied wine with intense flavours of red berry, dark plum and earthy notes. The well integrated spice and oak gives the wine great complexity with long smooth tannins; making every glass enjoyable.

2012 Body & Soul Pinot Noir

90% new French oak. Our premier wine; let the body & soul express itself!

The Body and Soul our Junction flagship wine. This intense wine has 90% New French Oak with all the tannin and richness of dark plum and cherry to match. Layered with mocha, spice and earth and completed with long smooth tannins. Let the Body and Soul express itself!

2019 Off Side Syrah

Gold 2020 NZ International Wine Awards & 4.5 STAR Winestate.

Already delicious, this deeply coloured, fragrant red was hand-picked on the Takapau Plains and matured for nine months in French oak barrels 33% new.  Full-bodied, with a spicy bouquet, showing good complexity, it has concentrated, plummy, spicy flavours, a hint of liquorice, supple tannins, and excellent balance and harmony.  Drink now or cellar for 10 years.

A late harvest style wine, sweet with crisp acidity perfect with blue cheese.

2018 Reserve Front Row Pinot Noir

776 bottle limited release. John Ashworth was All Black number 776, a formidable front row forward who played for the All Black from 1977 to 1985 with a total of 24 tests.

 

The Front Row Pinot Noir was barrel aged in French oak for 18 months with 50% new oak, this wine packs all the punch of this Front Row with smooth edges from age and will get better with time in bottle.
